Jim Pyra is the director of professional and consulting services at InnovMarine. Jim leads the consulting and InnovMarine Research, Development and Innovation (IMRDI) teams in the integration of digital solutions for complex defense and commercial marine projects, helping clients fundamentally change how they deliver value to their customers.
As a consulting and IT executive, Jim has over 30 years of experience delivering business growth through teamwork and successful partnerships. He has led his teams to win Subcontractor of the Year and Outstanding Supplier Performance Award from General Dynamics Land Systems-Canada and Collins Aerospace, respectively, for exceptional performance and contributions to supply chain success.
Jim earned his Master’s degree in Computer Science from Dalhousie University and has a Master of Arts in Transpersonal Psychology from Atlantic University,
Jim enjoys cooking and is a certified sommelier, which means he loves finding the perfect wine to pair with dinner. Jim has also published several novels and dramatic plays.
